I received an email from Darren on Christmas eve and I have to tell you both that you made our Christmas!!!
The emotion that fell over us looking at the pictures is undescribable -- words do not give our emotions justice.
I cannot say thank you enough for spending the time and energy in making our day alive in a picture. These memories are so so special.
I can't even tell you which picture is our favourite -- they are alllll amazing!!! Hey Darren,
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you - John and I found the pictures and DVD a bit overwhelming!!! The good news is that the DVD works on both of our players and we have been able to show it to lots of people. We also sent the link out for the pictures so people have been going to the website as well to see the pictures. I have to admit I couldn't figure out why there would be close to 500 pictures - I never realized that you were everywhere!!!!!!!!!!! Because of that the DVD was totally amazing - much better than a video in my opinion - it gives you a true sense of the day without the background noise. And the pictures themselves were amazing - I love the way you see things and are able to capture it, somehow you manage to retain the feeling which I didn't think was possible in a picture!!! I have to admit that John and I went through a few kleenex when we first watched it - we had to see it a few times to be able to see it if you know what I mean.
The feedback we have had from friends and family is all the same - they have the same comments as us and are blown away by the pictures. They were hounding me to see them as they all liked the engagement photos so much, and they weren't disappointed. People keep asking us about you and wanting to know all about you - and I always am hearing how much they enjoyed meeting you and having you there as well!!! For me words are inadequate to express how glad I am that you were there on our day, for so many reasons - it was an adventure to plan, and really fun to see it all come together so that people really enjoyed the day and now we have the most beautiful, touching, amazing pictures to be able to look back on for years to come. I will be sure to tell John Hi from you and we will be in touch about pictures and BBQ - I know John will be looking forward to that part!!!
